Comedy and Egyptian Series of
Rhizomatous Begonias

The Brad Thompson rhizomatous series are plants that were grouped together because of similar parentage or characteristics.

The 'Comedy' series got it's name because the first ones named had funny spots on them. Later, other ones were added as a humerous name was found for them. Begonia 'Jester' got it's name because it reminded him of a jester's hat. Most have some common or similar parentage but each is different. Begonia 'Trickster' (which isn't available yet) got it's name because it plays a trick, it's very spotted in some light conditions and then can change colors or lose spots when moved or the seasons change.

The Egyptian series all got their names from the fact that Begonia 'Cleopatra' was their mother, they all have bright green leaves with different markings or spirals.

Unless noted otherwise, there is a maximum limit of 3 for each kind of plant, but order as many different varieties as you wish. We grow many different plants, but we don't grow a lot of any one kind.
