NEW! 2009 - Begonia 'Bill Byron' is the perfect marriage between two popular species, Begonia egregia and Begonia paulensis. It has the long bright green leaves with thin red edge of B. egregia combined with the sprawling habit and waffle textured peltate leaves of B. paulensis. Leaves can grow 8 to 12 inches long on a mature plant and is impressive even out of bloom. Begonia 'Bill Byron is one of those plants that everyone notices. It is a seasonal bloomer with a flush of white flowers with darker hairs held above the foliage. A must for any begonia grower or collector. (Thompson)
