Evergreen small shrub with lavender colored trumpet-shaped flowers, with deep violet streaking in the throat, appearing in dense clusters on upright stems. Leaves are rounded to 1 inch long. Grows 4 to 6 feet high. Can be easily pruned to 3 feet tall as an informal hedge. Give regular watering, average soil in part shade to full sun. USDA zones 9 - 11. Brazil.
