Family: Gesneriaceae Very large, showy, lavender-blue slipper shaped flowers with a broad yellow stripe in throat. The narrow, tapered leaves are covered with soft, fine white hairs producing a silvery sheen. Stems are upright to about 12 inches tall. Tropical.
