Family: Solanaceae Very showy with larger deep crimson-red tubular flower clusters, red berries. Downy leaves are dark reddish green. Hummingbirds love it. Grows to 8 feet. USDA zones 8 - 11. Often spelled as Cestrum fasciculatum 'Newelii'. Possibly a hybrid of C. fasciculatum and C. elegans. A cultivar known as Cestrum 'Bacchus' looks to us as identical to 'Newellii'.
