Peru - Closely related to the Giant Granadilla (P. quadrangularis), it is hardier to cold and bears larger, sweetly fragrant 5"-6" flowers of deep carmine-crimson which cover the plant in summer and fall. It must be cross-pollinated with pollen from another clone or species to produce its delicious 5" yellow fruits. Tropical looking 6" oval glossy green leaves and free blooming habit. 32 F.
