Low sprawling rhizomatous. Leaves are medium sized cupped deeply cleft double spirals held upright on sturdy petioles. Leaves are dark green with brown markings. Very sturdy plant and very full growing, easy to grow. Dark pink flowers in late winter and spring. (Thompson)
