Medium growing rhizomatous. Medium star leaves on sturdy petioles. Leaves are nearly black stars with green markings on the star points. Easy to grow. Dark pink flowers on tall stalks in late winter and spring. Although not spiraled like the others in the 'Snake' series, still very showy and makes a great specimen. (Thompson)
