Family: Colchicaceae NEW! 2008 - Colorful lily relative that climbs up to 6 feet by the means of tendrils on the tip of each leaf. Bears flashy bright orange/red and yellow flowers in summer. Protect from cold, give light shade in sunny climates. Best as container plant. Caution: poisonous if ingested. Native to tropical Asia and Africa. Plants sold as dormant tubers in fall and winter or actively growing in 2.75 inch pots in season.
