Family: Malpighiaceae NEW! 2008 - Twining erect evergreen shrub with showy yellow flowers, followed by ornamental red-winged seed pods. Narrow shiny lance shaped leaves. This rare plant can be grown as a vine or even trained as a small patio tree. Plant in full sun to part shade. Can take a brief light frost. Probably not suited to the hot tropics. From Brazil and Argentina.
