This slender twining evergreen vine, similar to an asparagus vine, has small pale pink or white flowers followed by orange berries. The cut stems can be used in flower arrangements for its bamboo-like leaves. In its native Australia, bushmen sometimes eat the fleshy roots. Grow in semi-shade. Tolerates a wide range of soils, and is drought tolerant once established. It's not an aggressive vine and is unlikely to become a problem. For cool temperate to tropical climates. Rarely, if ever, offered in the U.S. Laxmanniaceae
