This is a truly unique and beautiful variegated climbing plant. The rounded dark green leaves show off with strong white venation. It grows up trees or other support with overlapping leaves, thus the name shingle plant. Grow it in bright or deep shade with high humidity. Moisture is important. Spray every couple of days with water, especially while young. Leaves can stay tiny for awhile. But with age, it becomes more robust with adult leaves up to 4 inches. Native to Papua New Guinea. USDA zones 11 - 12. Rarely offered.
