Of the many showy trumpet vines, this is the most useful to the container gardener, for unlike its larger relatives, it may be grown as a shrub and need not take up too much space. Saritea is also one of the most beautiful of all trumpet vines in flower, with brilliant clusters of 3 inch rosy purple trumpets produced on new growth late summer and fall. Its glossy green foliage is attractive all year. 45F.
