NEW! 2009 - An awesome fast growing plant, which might be the largest growing begonia. Can grow to 8 feet high by 6 feet wide. Palmately lobed leaves with a puckered texture to 2 feet or more across. Given enough light the leaves take on a reddish color, otherwise staying a light olive-green. Small white flowers held in huge upright clusters up to a foot across. If you want a large showcase plant this is the one. Hardy to around 25F. It resents overwatering. Begonia luxurians x gehrtii cross. (Worley)
