(Trailing-scandent Begonia) Terrarium begonia with 1¾ inch dark green smooth leaves with the undersides lightly felted. The creeping stems are covered with short brown hairs. Blooms in summer under lights with profuse quantities of minute flowers which are pink fading to white at the tip. An African species described in 1871 by J. D. Hooker. Native from Cameroon to the Congo. Tropical.
