(Distinctive Foliage Rhizomatous Begonia) Heart-shaped leaves with patterns of light green and chocolate brown. The coloration may be effected by growing conditions. So, it's best to grow in bright shade and keep warm. Blooming time is late winter to early spring with sprays of pink flowers. It usually goes dormant in winter with cooler conditions. Native to Mexico and Central America. Some suggest that this begonia might be a spotted form of Begonia plebeja.
