Pentas to Plumbago

Pentas lanceolata, "Egyptian Star Cluster", Rubiaceae. East Africa to So. Arabia. Large, brilliant clusters of 1/2 to 3/4 inch star-shaped flowers are produced all year on easy-to-grow plants well suited to container culture. Our selection of mostly older cultivars are taller, more vigorous plants than the compact bedding plants available elsewhere. They are ideal cut flowers. Grows 3 to 4 ft, part shade, frost tender.
