Family: Punicaceae Similar to the typical fruiting pomegranite, but much smaller in every way. This new cultivar, maybe the finest dwarf pomegranate, grows very slowly into a flattened dome about 2 feet high. Dark stems with double red flowers followed by deep mahogany-purple 2" fruits. Quite cold hardy. Deciduous in winter. Classic bonsai specimen.
