Clusia rosea 'Nana'

Small Leafed Clusia, Dwarf Pitch Apple
Clusia rosea Nana

Code: 50501

Price: $9.95

Quantity:
Quantity in Basket: None

Family: Clusiaceae

Small leathery, pear-shaped leaves on compact, rounded shrub, with small light pink flowers. Popular for landscape use in tropical climates where it can be used as a low-growing shrub or ground cover. As a moderate grower, preferring full to part sun, it grows 2 feet high and spreads 2 to 3 feet wide. It even can be made into a bonsai. Native to tropical America.

We previously sold this as Clusia guttifera, which is evidently a larger growing dwarf more closely resembling Clusia rosea in form. Clusia rosea 'Nana' is the name Florida nurseries use for this plant. Both Clusia guttifera and Clusia rosea 'Nana' names have not been verified by botanists.
