Family: Melastomataceae One of the most free flowering, with clusters of large 3" iridescent royal purple flowers and velvety 3" - 6" long leaves. Our plants are from selected large flowered forms in cultivation in Hawaii, and are especially showy. Excellent outdoors in California and other mild climates.
